THE HOT POT ITSELF WILL BECOME AVAILABLE IN THE FUTURE.

Chinese-style hot pot restaurant eHotPot announced plans to open Friday, May 15 at 243 E. Speedway Blvd., Ste. 141. However, Taiwan-style bento box take-out will be the focus for now.

The restaurant posted on their Facebook page Tuesday night:

We will be opening for Take-Out (only) starting Friday, May 15th. The take-out service will feature Taiwan Style Bento boxes which include a main dish and 2 side dishes. A free 32oz drink is included. Also available will be a variety of side dishes. We will also offer delivery service about 1 week after we start take-out service.

We will publish the the menu/ordering page link on Thursday night.
Obviously this is not Hot Pot, which we can only serve at the restaurant. At a later date we will begin our dine-in service once we feel comfortable with the physical distancing guidelines and our staff gets acclimated to the new dine-in hygiene procedures.

Wendy Karahalios, a Taiwan native, will run the restaurant with her husband Alex Karahalios.

“She likes to eat hot pot,” Alex said in a November interview. “It has been her dream for a while.”
